Myra's Story
Sweet Myra is still holding on to hope that someone will open their heart and home to her.

Myra is a calm, steady girl who settles in beautifully once she feels safe and familiar with her surroundings and routine. She’s easy to handle on leash and would love peaceful sniff walks where she can take in the world at her own pace.

While Myra may take a little time to warm up, she is polite, responsive, and eager to connect once trust is built. She isn’t overly demanding of attention and thrives in a calm, structured environment. Give this sweet girl a little patience and love, and she’ll show just how much potential she has to flourish in a home.

We believe Myra’s lack of stability has impacted her confidence, but with the right person and a low-stress home, she has every opportunity to continue growing into a secure and happy companion.

Myra would do best as the only dog in the home so she can fully decompress, feel secure, and continue building confidence without added stress.

She’s looking for someone willing to give her what she needs most:
✨ Patience
✨ Consistency
✨ A calm, loving home

And in return, Myra will reward you with companionship, trust, and a bond that’s truly special. 🩵

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.

Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
