Adoptions are first come first serve. A pet may be placed on a one time hold until the end of next business day. The hold starts from the date of receipt of a completed application. Holds may not be extended. Applications for adoptions can be found on our website: https://www.co.kendall.il.us/departments/animal-control/adoption Adoptions may be refused at the discretion of shelter staff.
