Myles 's Story

This handsome, 7 year old boy was about to be euthanized in a high kill shelter in Los Angeles, California. A rescue saved him just in time. However, this happy moment took a tragic turn!!! Myles was then taken to a boarding facility and was abandoned there!!! What a horrible thing for this sweet boy to have gone thru!!! We stepped in to help find this sweet boy a loving home that he so desperately needs ASAP!!! Please he his hero! Myles is 7 years old, neutered, updated in his vaccines & microchipped. He is such a gentle soul & so loving. He gets along well with other dogs & loves people! He walks very well on a leash & enjoys walks. The Soulful Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

We have been using a website for the past seven years called rescueme.org this has been a successful venue for us although their site is not always operating which we just experienced all of our ads being down for 30 days. Our process is we first speak to the potential adopters then they are asked to fill out an application we strive to match the dog in question to their home. Make sure our dog is dog friendly if they have other pets or cats. We either do a home check or pictures are provided to us of the home the yard and the fencing. We do our best to ensure ourselves and the Pat this is a loving appropriate home for them. We do take the dogs back if they don’t work out in the adopters home.

Our mission is to rescue dogs out of the high kill Los Angeles animal shelters. Provide love and care and find responsible long-term homes for these precious animals.
