Mushu is a beautiful girl who has already raised her final litter and is now ready for something she's never truly had before: a family just for her.<br/><br/>Mushu is a deeply affectionate dog who adores her people. Cuddles are her love language. Truly, she might even rank them above treats. She loves to be close, lean in for affection, and soak up every bit of attention she can. Give her a rubber squeaky toy and you'll see her joyful, goofy side instantly. Fetch, tug, and squeaky-toy surgeries (she removes squeakers with impressive speed) are some of her favorite hobbies.<br/><br/>Mushu is wonderful with children, especially older ones, and her very favorite human is a teenager in her foster home. She can take a little time to warm up to new adults, especially men, but with kindness, patience, and gentle introductions, she builds beautiful bonds.<br/><br/>She has met dogs of all sizes and does best with slow, structured introductions. Mushu can be reactive if another dog barks or growls at her, so she's looking for adopters who can help her keep practicing positive social skills. She's also lived with cats and, after some initial curiosity and chasing, has done well with them.<br/><br/>She's working on learning that the world outside the window doesn't need barking at quite so often. She may react to unfamiliar people, bikes, or fast-moving wheeled things, so a patient home experienced with reactive dogs will help her keep growing into her best self.<br/><br/>Mushu's ideal home? A kind, stable household where she can be included in daily life, get lots of affection, and enjoy playtime and cuddles.
