Mushu's Story

Hi I’m Mushu! I’m an 8 year old little guy, weighing only 11 lbs. I’ve lived with my current family for my whole life, but they are very busy. Too busy for me I guess, but that’s okay, because my rescue mama is going to find the pawfect furever home for me. Please don’t let my age fool you as I am pretty active. I love to run around the yard and play with my adult human(s). I even like having kitty friends! Those other guys like me, dogs…. yea, I’m not a fan. I also do not like kids. None that live with me or visit me. So yup, just call me a solo flyer. Even though I’m a “senior”, I struggle with only doing my business outside, but I LOVE food so I’ll train easily if you give me the time and patience and work with me. I would thrive best in a home where my mom and/or dad are home a lot to give me the attention I crave, and where we have a private, fenced in yard. I’m too cool to show off my moves to passerby’s! MEET AND GREETS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AFTER AN APPLICATION IS RECEIVED - WWW.APPLYTHREESTOOGES.COM Thank you for considering adopting through Three Stooges Rescue Inc.! Our goal is to make great matches that set both you and your new pup up for success. **1) Submit an application** Start by completing our adoption application. We review applications in the order received and will reach out with any follow-up questions. **2) Screening & conversation** We’ll contact you to discuss your lifestyle, home environment, pets, and what you’re looking for. This helps us confirm fit and recommend the best match. **3) Meet & greet** If approved, we schedule a meet-and-greet (and for current dogs, a dog-to-dog introduction when needed). Some meet-and-greets may be held at a foster home, boarding facility, or event. **4) Approval & adoption details** Once everyone is comfortable, we finalize the adoption. This includes a signed contract, adoption fee, and confirmation of pickup/transition details. **5) Go-home day + support** Your new family member goes home, and we remain available for guidance as your dog settles in. We love updates and “happy tails”! **Notes:** * We may require landlord approval if you rent. * Home checks may be requested for certain dogs/situations. * Adoption fees help cover vetting and lifesaving care.
