I’m a 1-year, 11-month-old pit bull mix with a zest for life and a love for adventure. I have a lot of energy, so I’ll need a home that can be active with me—whether that means going on runs, hikes, or just plenty of playtime in the yard. Keeping busy and having fun is my kind of life!<br/><br/>One of my absolute favorite things in the world is playing with other dogs. I thrive when I have a playful canine friend, and I’d love to have a buddy to romp around with. Since every dog has their own personality, it’s recommended that I meet any potential doggie siblings before going home—just to make sure we’re the perfect match. But trust me, if your dog loves to play, we’ll be best buds in no time!<br/><br/>I’m also a pretty smart guy. Right now, I’m in a training program at Wayside Waifs, where I’ve been learning all sorts of cool things. So far, I’ve mastered sit, down, touch, look, and place—pretty impressive, right? I’m a fast learner, especially when tasty treats are involved. Training with me is not only fun, but it’s also a great way to help me focus my energy and keep my brain busy. I’d love a family who will continue working with me and teaching me new things!<br/><br/>When I’m not zooming around or showing off my smarts, I love to get close to my favorite people. I may be a wiggly, active boy, but once I trust you, I’ll nuzzle right up to you for some love and affection. I find so much comfort in being near my people—and in food, of course! A yummy snack and some pets from my trusted friends? That’s my idea of heaven!<br/><br/>If you’re an active person looking for a smart, playful, and affectionate pup, I might just be your guy.
