He’s the kind of dog who walks into a room and instantly becomes everyone’s favorite—snacks mysteriously disappear, hearts melt, and somehow he ends up on your couch like he owns the place (because, let’s face it, he kind of does).<br/><br/>Murphy is social, playful, and just the right mix of silly and sweet. He’s not just memorable—he’s unforgettable. <br/><br/>Murphy is a 2 year old Lab Mix and he weighs 68 lbs. He's kennel trained and house trained.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives?
