Murphy

Meet Murphy! At 13 years young, this sweet Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure. Murphy was rescued from a horrific backyard breeder, and despite his difficult past, he has remained a gentle, loving little guy.

Murphy is calm, quiet, and incredibly sweet. He gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a peaceful, easygoing pup. He loves being near his person and will happily follow you around like a little shadow—but he’s never demanding of your attention. He’s perfectly content simply being by your side.

When it’s time to relax, Murphy knows exactly what he likes: his cozy bed and a good bone to chew on!

Murphy is looking for a loving forever home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and the people who will cherish him. After everything he’s been through, this special little senior deserves nothing less than the best.

Could you be Murphy’s forever family?

If you are interested in this dog The first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. https://placingpawsrescue.org/applications/dog-application/

ADOPTION FEE: $300.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at placingpaws@yahoo.com. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
