Muntz's Story
COURTESY POST

This dog is not in our Rescue, but Fetch is assisting with the screening of applicants.

Meet Muntz!

Muntz is a spirited 3-year-old mix (think some kind of herding mix crossed with Lab!) weighing in at a sturdy 60 lbs. This handsome, neutered boy is fully vaccinated and ready to find his forever home — he just needs the right fit.

His best qualities:

Muntz is a people lover through and through. He'll greet you at the door with enthusiastic jumps and a wagging tail — his excitement is contagious! He's crate-trained, has zero accidents indoors, and is highly food-motivated, making him a great candidate for training. He also loves toys and keeping his mouth busy with a good chew.

What makes Muntz tick:

True to his herding roots, Muntz has a sharp mind and a big heart. He wants to know what everyone is doing at all times — and he'd love nothing more than a job to do. Give him a purpose, some room to run, and consistent training, and he will be your most devoted right-hand man.

His ideal home:

Muntz thrives with experienced dog owners who understand herding breeds. He does best without young children, as he doesn't quite know his size and can get mouthy when excited. He can coexist with other dogs that have calm, passive temperaments. His status with cats and small animals is unknown.

What Muntz needs from you:

Room to run and burn energy

An owner who enjoys training and engagement

A calm, structured home environment

Lots of love and quality time with his people

If you're an active, experienced dog owner looking for a loyal companion who will never leave your side, Muntz just might be your perfect match.

You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt

Name: Muntz

Age: 3 years

Breed: Herding/lab mix

Sex: Male

Weight: 60 lbs.

Altered: Yes

Good with kids: would be best with slightly older kids- I don't know my full size sometimes!

Good with dogs: I get along with other dogs with calm, passive temperaments!

Good with cats: Unknown

Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization
