Mulan - Pro Nature Pal!'s Story

Hi my name is Mulan!

Mulan is a sweet girl who has loved every human she has met here at the shelter. She LOVES treats and snacks, and will sit on cue. She tends to be on high alert in the building, having trouble relaxing, which is not unexpected. Looking at her sweet scarred face, and her ear with a missing tip, she has not had the easiest life. She can walk by dogs without issue, but would prefer to be the only dog in her next home. She did have a foster dog brother she loved, but is extremely picky about those she lets into her personal bubble. She would rather avoid trouble and have personal space than cause any trouble with other dogs. This girl wants a quiet home, where she can be your one and only. She enjoys snuggles on the couch, and appears to be a low energy dog as described by her southern foster. (See below) Will you be the one to give Mulan her fairy tale ending?

A note from my southern foster family --

Mulan was happy and snuggling with us on the couch after her morning and evening walks. It's clear that she has had a very hard life, she is a very shy and anxious lady. She walked really well on leash but was weary about passing other dogs and squirrels. We showered her with love and distraction when she started to get nervous. She much prefers to be a couch potato and doesn't have much interest in rowdy playtime. She was very clearly hurt by dogs in the past but a very gentle girl with her humans.

Mulan needs a home with endless love and patience. We will miss her soft snores and calming presence.

My adoption fee includes vaccinations, a microchip, and I am spayed/ neutered.

History:
Dogs: Very scared of other dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home
Cats: Overly interested in cats- we wouldn't recommend a home with cats
Children: Unknown- but seems to really like humans in general
