I’m Ms. Butterworth and, like my name would suggest, I am just the sweetest girl! I am a chi/terrier mix estimated to be about 1.5 years old, my personality reminds my foster mama a lot of my senior beagle foster sister. I am about 25 pounds so I’d be perfect for a house or apartment. I am not overly energetic or interested in the other dogs in the home; we kind of just co-exist and do our own things! I much prefer the attention of the humans. I would do wonderfully in a home with another dog, or would be fine on my own! My foster family was also told I am good with cats, which doesn’t surprise them as I am very easy going. My tail is always wagging and my favorite place to be is on someone’s lap or nuzzling into their neck. I really really really don’t like the cold so we are working on house breaking. I will go potty outside but I basically need to be forced out the door! I do very well in my crate when the humans leave and am working on sleeping in a crate next to them and not on the bed (I really wanna be on the bed! Please!)<br/><br/>My gorgeous brindle color is very unique but foster family thinks my cutest trait are my ears! I have a signature half up/half down hair style that I’m rocking 99% of the time, but once in a while you’ll get full pig tails! And sometimes when I’m reaaaaaally happy I go full slick-back! Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s Butterworth 💁‍♀️<br/><br/>If easy going and super affectionate sound like traits you’d like in a pet, please consider adopting me! I have so much love to give ☺️<br/><br/>Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
