Mrs. Bennet's Story
MRS. BENNET

2 years, spayed female, ~14 lbs

Terrier mix

Mrs. Bennet is the Mom to the Pride & Prejudice Litter, and she has had a week of adventures. First, she got to visit a local school to be an ambassador for Wiggly Tails and help kids learn why it's good to help local nonprofits. Then, she got spayed, and now she is all ready for a new home!

Mrs. Bennet's story with us begins in a rural area of Fresno. Two determined rescuers worked to trap a dog that had been seen around an area with a river and trees. Once they caught the hungry dog and brought her into foster, they realized she likely had babies very recently. So off they went with Mrs. Bennet on a long lead, and she took them right to her SEVEN puppies!

Despite her heroic march to her kids, Mrs. Bennet seems to possess no actual leash skills. She does excel at games like "I'm a stone statue" and "watch me just slide into the floor like I have no legs". We highly recommend a securely fenced yard for Mrs. Bennet as she works on her leash training with her new owners. In exchange, she will show you all her happy-skippy zoomies outside.

If you find yourself with extra crumbs on your counters, Mrs. Bennet would love to assist you with that. She has excellent balance and amazing skills in sneakery, giving her the ability to reach places you did not think was actually possible. She is currently eating a high-protein dog food to help her recover from feeding her seven puppies, but she would gladly take your tidbits too.

Mrs. Bennet seems most amicable, getting along with other dogs, cats, and kids. She is crate trained in a sturdy hard shell crate (which we would recommend if left unattended) and has not had any accidents in the house. She is a gentle soul that loves plopping herself down where ever her people are.

Mrs. Bennet is not leash trained and requires a securely fenced yard.

To further inquire about MRS.
