Mr Spock's Story
Meet Mr. Spock!

This sweet little guy was found on the side of the road on 5/18/2026. He waited... and waited... and waited... but sadly, his family never came to bring him home from the shelter. One of the volunteers at our local shelter reached out & asked if we had a room. How could we not??

Estimated to be around 10 years old and a sturdy 13 pounds, Mr. Spock is truly one of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet. One of my favorite things? The adorable little happy dance he does when you walk through the door. It's impossible not to smile.

Our veterinarian isn't exactly sure what happened in Mr. Spock's past. He's missing one eye and most of his lower jaw, but these appear to be old injuries, and somehow this resilient little guy has learned to adapt beautifully. In fact, I honestly don't think Mr. Spock realizes he's any different.

His past may have left him looking a little different, but it never changed his ability to love.

Mr. Spock is good with older, respectful kids, good with cats, and co-exists nicely with other dogs, although he isn't much interested in playing. Truth be told, his most ideal home would be a quiet one where he'd spend time with his person or snooze in his favorite comfy chair. Like most seniors, he does have his grumpy moments where he just wants to be left alone & off he'll wander to his favorite place to relax & snooze.

He isn't currently housetrained, but with patience, consistency, and regular walks, we think he'll continue making progress.

Mr. Spock may not be perfect by the world's standards... but I have a feeling he'll be perfect for someone.

If you're looking for a gentle soul who will light up your day with his happy little welcome-home dance and a heart that's simply grateful to be loved, then Mr. Spock just might be exactly who you've been waiting for. Neutered, utd on vaccines, chipped & ready to make you smile.

Ready to open your home and heart to this special little guy?
