Mr. Rogers's Story

Mr. Roger came to us thru the local Police department after his stray hold was up.

He has been wonderful with everyone he has met, although we don't really let him around the farm animals or cats. He doesn't obsess about them when he sees them in the yard he is playing in. He has done great with other dogs. But of course we always do meet and greets that includes all family members.

We have noticed that he have a tendency to possess his items, mainly his food, so small children may be a consideration andnof course his own space. Which we are not surprised of since he was considered an abandoned stray.
He really loves to be around his people and the perfect home with him would maybe be a home with semi active adults or somebody who is retired that enjoys a companion to hang out and watch TV with, go for short hikes, play with the other dog, preferrably a female and just enjoy life.

Mr.Roger had his complete physical at our vet, where he was treated for internal parasites and we did discover a condition requiring no medication, an old hernia. It doesn't affect him or his quality of life also far and our vet advises against intervention at this time due to his age.
He really is a great dog and just deserves the chance to have the home of his dreams. If you would like to meet him we would love to introduce him to everyone.

Mr Rogers is neutered, microchipped, updated on all his vaccines and ready for his forever home. His adoption fee is $350 and helps ensure that we can continue to help dogs like Mr Rogers and more in the future.

If you are interested in learning more about Mr. Rogers, please feel free to send us an email at Valhallarescue@gmail.com or call 253-363-7908
