Mr. Pike's Story

If your perfect dog is a happy, Waggy-tailed, smiling, low maintenance pooch, you need to meet Mr. P, also known as Pike! We think he is Border Collie mixed with something floppy eared and short haired, maybe Beagle? He is a perfect medium size, has a wonderful, calm, sweet, soft disposition, and is ready to find his forever home. We don’t know how he ended up abandoned on a back road in rural Oklahoma, because he’s obviously had some training. He’s well-mannered in the home, crate trained, house trained, and respectful/neutral when meeting new dogs. He is a little too interested in his foster mom‘s cat, but he redirects easily, so would likely adapt to living in a household with a dog savvy cat. Because he is a sensitive guy, he will do best with gentle introduction to new experiences, but he is very willing and very motivated by treats and praise. His nice short coat and floofy tail will give you the best of both worlds.

Mr. Pike is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He's about 2-years old and weighs a svelte 45-pounds. He's ready for his forever home and we'd love for you to chat with his foster mom and see if he's the right boi for you!

If you are interested in adopting Mr. Pike, please fill out the application on our website at: https://www.westernaustralianshepherdrescue.com/adoption-application.html.

We only schedule meet n greets after a completed application which includes a home visit and reference checks.
