Meet Mr. Fish
Hi, I’m Mr. Fish—a 6-month-old, 38-pound mixed terrier pup with the cutest chocolate eyepatch & the sweetest personality. My journey started when my momma, hungry & scared, was searching for a safe place to have me and my siblings during a storm. Thankfully, a kind lady rescued her just in time, and I was born the very next day!
I’m a total sweetheart who absolutely adores people. I get so excited to meet new friends that I let out an enthusiastic “awrooo” before covering them in kisses! I’m also passionate about food & will happily let you know how thrilled I am at mealtime. Wherever you go, I want to be right there with you—whether it’s a snuggle session on the couch, a trip to the bathroom, or just hanging out while you work. My foster mom calls me a stage 5 clinger, but she says my cuteness makes it impossible to mind!
I love toys, especially zooming around with my favorite stuffies, but I’m just as happy entertaining myself or relaxing nearby. I sleep quietly in my crate all night and stay crated during the workday without any trouble. Potty training? Nailed it. Car rides? I’m a pro—especially now that I’ve discovered the joy of looking out the window!
I get along great with other dogs, though I can be a little shy around bigger pups at first. With slow introductions, I warm up quickly & love to play. I’ve even had successful sleepovers with other dogs! I’ve met cats before, & while I’m a bit unsure around them, I could learn to coexist with a little time & training.
Since I’m still a puppy, I’d thrive in a home that offers structure, fun, & plenty of activity. My foster mom thinks I’d be a great adventure buddy because I’m good on a leash & love the car. Most of all, I’m ready to shower you with endless love, cuddles, & joy.
I’m neutered, vaccinated, & likely to grow to a medium-to-large size (mom is 40 pounds). If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, I promise I’m the pup for you!
Please note: as with most rescue puppies, we have no way to guarantee this puppy’s breed or size potential.

Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).
The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.
