In Palm Beach County, Mozzie's early days were marred by adversity. Found chained to a tree and bearing signs of physical abuse in the summer of 2023, his start was far from easy. Fortunately, Big Dog Ranch Rescue intervened, giving him a new beginning. Although it's sad this special boy has had to grow up in a shelter setting he is hoping and dreaming someone will give him a chance at a fresh start in life. At just a year and a half old, Mozzie may be a bundle of energy at times, and is usually eager to play, but he also settles in nicely for cuddles and snuggles. His energy level is pretty moderate although he does have spurts of energy which means he'll thrive with a spacious yard and human companions to share in his joy. While he's friendly with other dogs, his playful nature can be intense for some, so a match with older kids and a commitment to training would be ideal.
