Meet Moxie!<br/> <br/>If you are looking for a pup whose heart is as big as her happy, wagging tail, look no further than Moxie! This sweet girl radiates a gentle, joyful energy that makes everyone around her smile. While she might take a minute to assess a new situation—a classic, intelligent Shepherd trait—her curiosity quickly wins out, and before you know it, she’s handing out sweet puppy kisses. She has a beautifully calm temperament, taking in the world with bright, observant eyes, and is always ready to bring a little extra sunshine to your day.<br/>Behind those sweet eyes is a very sharp mind. Moxie is incredibly observant, quick to pick up on cues, and an absolute breeze to handle. She is a total angel who rides quietly in the car, settles perfectly in her crate, and even stood as calm as a statue for her morning bath! She loves to learn and is eager to figure out how the world works.<br/>She currently lives with two large foster brothers (66 lbs and 110 lbs!) and gets along with them wonderfully. She will happily hop up onto the couch on her own to hang out, and if you pull her in close, she completely melts right into you for the best snuggles. Take her outside, though, and her playful side really shines! She absolutely loves being outdoors—even in the snow—and will happily entertain you with her hilarious backyard zoomies. After she burns off that energy, she transforms into an avid chew-bone enthusiast. In fact, she was recently caught hoarding an impressive collection of eight bones on her dog bed in just 15 minutes! She’s quiet in the crate and sleeps all night. No accidents in the crate and willingly goes in for crate time (naps/night time).<br/>Car rides: Quiet and content traveler.<br/>Temperament: Curious, friendly but slightly reserved with new people, very sweet and smart. No separation anxiety.<br/>Barker: No<br/>Resource guarding: None.<br/>Kids & cats: Not yet tested.<br/>Note: a fence is not required if you are active (take her out a few times a day for walks, hikes, etc). She’s good on a leash!<br/><br/>Moxie is available for adoption through Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown WI. She will be spayed prior to adoption, is microchipped, dewormed, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $450. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;<br/>4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);<br/>5.
