Moxie is the sweetest 10-month-old, 30 lb mixed breed puppy. She may still be young, but she already has such a calm, gentle presence that makes everyone around her fall in love.<br/><br/>Moxie came from a difficult past and has some scars that are healing beautifully — both inside and out. In new environments, she can be nervous at first, army crawling as she explores and takes everything in. But even then, she remains incredibly sweet and trusting. Once she feels safe, her confidence grows, and her goofy, playful personality begins to shine.<br/><br/>Her absolute favorite thing in the world is cuddling. Moxie would happily spend all day curled up beside you on the couch or in a cozy dog bed. If you’re working, she’ll quietly rest at your feet. She is so polite when asking for affection, gently climbing into your lap and rolling over for belly rubs.<br/><br/>She’s also learning how to just be a puppy. The dog in her foster home has been helping show her the ropes, and toys and zoomies are becoming some of her favorite things. She loves chew bones and treats, and she’s a very smart girl. Moxie has already learned that ringing the bell means it’s time to go outside, knows how to sit politely for treats, walks nicely on leash, and does well in her crate. She is eager to learn and even more eager to love.<br/><br/>Moxie is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on vaccines.<br/><br/>All she needs now is a patient, loving home where she can continue to blossom — and where she can give the endless love she’s been saving up for her forever family.
