Mouse's Story

Meet Mouse, our newest foster pup! Mouse has spent her entire life living in a dirt lot behind someone’s house with only scraps to eat and no shelter. Now that we have had her a couple weeks and she has been fully vetted and spayed, we want to start spreading the word so she can find her forever home. Because she unfortunately was not given the care she needed as a puppy, she is going to need continued socialization and patience, but is so so deserving. She loves people and once she settles in, she is very trusting. She will need a home with someone who is willing to teach her and encourage her. A home without young children is best for her. Young children will be too much stimulation and other dogs are a little scary at first.

Here is what you need to know:
18 month old Great Dane mix
Spayed
Vaccinated
Heart worm negative
Crate trained
House trained (which is amazing since she has never lived in a home before)
Knows sit and working on down.
Loves food and snacks!

If you’d like to make Mouse your new companion, apply today at farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Far Fetched Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
All adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. All medical concerns are addressed prior to adoption including emergency care needed, chronic health conditions, dental care, and various other concerns. Adoption Fees All Adoption fees vary based on the individual animal. Adoption Process The adoption process begins with an application. After the application has been reviewed and references checked, A Home check video will be requested. This video will need to include interior and exterior views of the home and yard if applicable. Once the home check has been submitted and approved, we are able to schedule a meet and greet with the adoptable animal. If both parties agree to proceed with adoption, your new family member will go home with you! Please note, we may request a few days after the meet and greet to make a decision for the animals placement, however, most adoptions will take place the day of the meet and greet.
