Mouse's Story

Meet Mouse, a sweet and playful puppy hoping to find her forever home this holiday season. She arrived as a stray, but her friendly, outgoing personality makes it clear she is ready to become part of a loving family.

Mouse gets along wonderfully with other dogs in our play yards, so she would thrive in a home with canine companions. She is full of puppy energy and would be a wonderful match for kids who can keep up with her playful spirit.

Black, pit bull type puppies like Mouse are often overlooked in shelters, but we are determined to help her find a good home where she can grow up loved and cherished. While it would be amazing for her to be home for the holidays, it is important to remember that pets, especially young ones like Mouse, are a lifetime commitment. Mouse will need training, patience, and guidance as she grows, and her new family will be loving her through every holiday and everyday moment for years to come.

If you are ready for a fun, affectionate puppy who will bring joy to your home, come meet Mouse. She is eager to start her next chapter with the family who will adore her.

Mouse weighs 34 pounds at a year old. She has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested negative.

Located at the Brownsville Haywood County Animal Shelter in Brownsville, Tennessee. All dog/puppy adoption fees are $60, which covers all vetting done prior to adoption. Cat/kitten fees are $35. The adoption fee covers majority of the spay/neuter cost at any of our local vets. In order to adopt a pet from us, you must fill out an adoption application for the animal you are interested in, and be approved. Once you are approved, you will be allowed to come visit the animal you are interested in, and make a decision. All animals are required to be spayed/nuetered upon adoption. NO exceptions. We usually allow adopters to take animals home the same day as their meet and greet, but will not hold any animals for potential adopters unless their fee has already been paid.
