Welcome Mouse!! <br/><br/>Mouse is a 6 week old, male chihuahua who currently weighs 2lbs. He has a sad story but his future is bright now within the safe haven of our rescue. Mouse was found in a homeless camp and those who lived there said his mother left and the other siblings were given away/gone. They said they did not know if the mother was killed or if she just moved to another area but regardless, Lil Mouse was left to fend for himself. We took him in and he has started his DAPP vaccines, been dewormed, microchipped and will be neutered when he is old enough. He is a very sweet boy and while his start of life has been uncertain and inconsistent, we know his future will be full of Love within our rescue and eventually in his furever home. First step is to submit an application on our website HeartofGaltRescue.com. We then go through and see which dog would be a good match for the families lifestyle/dynamic. Once we have received all required verification/documents we set up a Meet N Greet with the dogs and potential adopters and discuss when/if it would be a good fit and when the dog would be available/ready to be adopted.
