She loves other dogs and enjoys playing, but because of her medical condition, she also needs plenty of quiet rest time afterward so she doesn't become too sore. She would love a companion who can play and help keep her company, but will also know when it's time to snuggle instead.<br/><br/>Motash has a complex congenital spinal and skeletal condition that affects her mobility and causes chronic pain. She takes daily pain medication and will likely need lifelong medical management and ongoing veterinary care. While she enjoys life and remains active in her own way, she will never be a high-energy hiking companion and needs a home with limited to no stairs, low-impact activity, and an adopter who understands her special needs.
