Morty and Ferdy's Story

Morty (male) and Ferdy (female), brother and sister, Lab mix estimated to be born in June 2020. These two are bonded and need to be adopted together. These pups were dumped a a high kill shelter when they were three months old.

Morty weighed 45 lbs and Ferdy 39 lbs the beginning of February and they have put on a couple more pounds since then. Morty is leggy and tall, while Ferdy smaller in size. Ferdy is very agile and both dogs are very smart. They walk well are harnesses and are food motivated. Ferdy does well with all dogs and Morty tends to do better with females. Ferdy can climb a 4 foot fence and should not be left unattended. She would do great at agility! Morty will play but loves to be with his human.

Morty and Ferdy are great pups and would do well in a home where someone is home as they are escape artists when it comes to their crates. When you leave them and come home, they are out of their crate.

Both need a little time to warm up but not a long time and are vocal when they play. They will be vocal with you as well but it is not aggressive just play.

They are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, and monthly flea/tick preventative.

Email aplaceforallrescue@yahoo.com if you are interested in adopting these beautiful babies!!!!
