Morty 's Story
Meet Rick and Morty, an adorable bonded pair of 1-year-old brothers weighing about 8–10 pounds each. While they may start off a tiny bit shy, don’t blink — that phase lasts all of about 30 minutes! Once they’re comfortable, these two transform into outgoing, affectionate little shadows who want nothing more than to be your very best companions.

Rick and Morty are incredibly people-oriented and love being right up in your space, soaking up all the attention they can get. They are both crate trained and house trained, and they do especially well being crated together at night, where they sleep soundly side by side. They get along well with other dogs and are also good with cats — they may bark at them from time to time, but they’ve never shown any aggression (and let’s be honest… most cats are bigger than they are!).

What truly makes Rick and Morty special is their bond. These brothers are always looking for each other, making sure the other is close by, and finding comfort in one another. We know adopting a bonded pair is a big ask, but these two are absolutely worth it. They are both neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will receive health certificates prior to adoption. Rick and Morty are best friends who are ready to continue their lives together — all they need now is a loving home willing to open their hearts to both of them.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application

**We can’t adopt to MA residents**
