Mortimer's Story

One look at this handsome boy and you'll be in love cause unique doesn't even cover it! Mortimer, and mid-size pittie mix , at about 52 lbs full grown, (maybe some Catahoula in there) has the prettiest coat and cutest pink nose. This polite and sweet boy is ready for his forever home. Rave reviews from his hosts and a favorite of volunteers, Mortimer has a great energy level that is both get up and walk to get those steps in as well as more than happy to snuggle on the couch all night. Mortimer could even turn it up for hikes but isn't the kind of guy who will need 10 miles a day to settle into some good cuddles. He is great in his crate, has some great skills like leash walking and enjoying the bathroom outdoors. He has done well with other female dogs at Saving Grace but would be fine on his own as your main squeeze thought would prefer older children in the home if there are any. Come meet this work of art and be ready to fall in love!

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
