Morticia's Story
MorTisha (answers to Tisha).
She comes when she is called- in the house and out in the yard.
She loves ves playing with balls- chasing them down the hallway and bringing them back for more. She plays with some other toys as well.
She has spent about 6 hours around a 10 y/o, & 7 y/o girls and did well. It took a while but she came around. She was amazing with my grandson- just sniffed, and laid beside me.
Her potty training is getting much better (no pooping n the house for months), she will pee in the house occasionally- and knows she was wrong!!
She absolutely loves being outside w her people and other dogs.
She escapes from the yard after I open the garage door (she slides under the gate). I have reinforced the holes several times.
She gets in n the other side of the gate and just stays near the fence (unless I am n the garage, she will prance right to me).
She listens while outside (not fenced in) and does not leave my yard.
Walk her with a harness on and she will walk for days. Try it with a collar and walks will not happen.
If someone works from home, Tisha might be good as an only dog.
She has escaped thru both my gates in the house- both reinforced with an oven rack or a piece of plywood about 6” taller than the gate.
She is a fantastic cuddle bug when sleeping in the bed. I know who has laid next to me she kid of throws herself against my back or legs to sleep. She will sometimes wake me up w a paw to my arm or chest.
She sits and waits while I fill the dog bowls w food, and waits for my command of ok. Anything more than 4-5 minutes she will whine a little and tap her foot (see the video).

She barks but is not obnoxious about it.
