Morticia's Story
Introducing Morticia! My potty training is getting better each day.
Yesterday my foster mom left the boys and me in the kitchen and went to work.
Mom placed 3 bowls of food in another room, so her daughter could feed us at dinner time. Well, silly mom- I busted down the walk thru gate and ate all 3 bowls of food. When this daughter came thru the front door, I met her in the dining room. I tried to hide from her, but it didn’t work. So, in the kitchen she went, she fed the boys then called me and I gave in and of course, rolled so she could rub and scratch my belly.
When mom got home, I was in the family room- I had one accident on the big doggie bed. This morning foster mom has made reinforcements on the doggie door. I sleep in bed with foster mom and the boys, I love cuddling on cool nights and sometimes sprawl out near the boys.
Not sure about these dog toys yet or a leash for walks, but I sure love playing chase in the house w my buddy Bru.
I still need work but I am worth it, I am a cute catch for anyone looking for an animated, cuddly pup.

I came from a bad situation, I was one of over 90 dogs in a mobile home. I thought it was normal but I am learning it isn’t. My then mom had more issues than anyone knew about and we hope she is getting the help she needs. In late 2022 DCS ruled she could no longer own pets but no one followed up. She went from one to over 90 in less than 2 years. Imagine that? I am around one year, ~9 lbs, a dachshund x.

Please check on family, friemds, neighbors, etc. If they won’t let you visit be concerned. Push it.
