Morris's Story

If interested,
Please contact the foster home. Petfinder Profiles do any always work.

Meet Morris – Your New Favorite Shadow

Morris is the definition of a gentle sweetheart with a serious love for cuddles. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be right by your side (or curled up next to you on the couch), Morris is your guy! He adores pets, thrives on affection, and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give.

This handsome 4-year-old has excellent manners—he’s fully house trained, has no food or toy aggression, and is just an all-around good boy. He knows basic commands like “sit” and “here,” and is currently working on “off” and “leave it.” He walks beautifully on leash, has relatively good recall, and does wonderfully with other dogs.

Morris is currently living with a toddler and shows zero interest, proving what a calm, respectful, and easygoing companion he is. He’s also generally very good when left alone. While he isn’t crate trained, he settles nicely on his own—just be sure to keep treats and food out of reach, as he’s a curious guy!

He has a playful side too! Morris enjoys a good game of fetch and loves time to roam and explore. Fair warning: this guy can jump! He’ll need a home with a tall, secure fence or plenty of space to safely stretch his legs and satisfy his curiosity.

While Morris is great with dogs and people of all ages, he does have an interest in chasing cats—so a cat-free home would be ideal.

Morris is up to date on all vaccinations and medications, neutered, and microchipped—ready to head straight into his forever home. Above all else, he’s pure heart. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly loving, we’re pretty sure there isn’t a mean bone in his body.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love and happily snuggle at the end of the day, Morris is ready to meet you

Please contact DanielleKayeMohr@gmail.com.

Complete an Application:

https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application
