Morris's Story
Meet Morris: Three legs, 1 giant head, and unlimited snuggles
Name: Morris (formally Carnival at (MADACC))
Age: 4 (ish)
Breed: Terrier mix
Weight: 65 lbs and gaining
Vaccination Status: Morris is neutered, up to date on rabies, distemper, bordatella vaccines, heartworm testing & prevention ensuring his continued health and well-being.
Ideal Home: Morris is seeking a home with toys to chew and a couch to snuggle on. He is a medium energy boy who loves his walks (we are working on increasing his endurance after his amputation), enjoys playing fetch in the yard and a good roll in the grass. After a bit of exercise he is ready to snuggle- and hes the best at it! He can almost be found with one of emotional support stuffed toys in his mouth- especially when hes excited!
Compatibility: Morris gets along well his canine foster sister and enjoys playing tug and fetch. He does hog the human snuggles from her, but she doesnt mind. He also gets along well with children, but due to his size, we feel he would do best with older kids. Morris has a high prey drive, so he will need a home without cats.
Special Needs: Due to Morris front leg amputation he will need to be on high quality joint supplements for life. Maintaining a healthy weight will be key to his mobility.
Grooming: He has the softest short coat with minimal grooming requirements. Just occasional brushing and a bath (which he does great with at home).
Training: Morris has an excellent start with his training. He is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands such as sit, down, off, and even still gives paw despite only having 1 front leg!
He is THE PERFECT DOG!
Apply here: https://linktr.ee/uudogrescue
