Morpheus's Story

Meet Morpheus.

He is a young adult neutered male terrier type mix. Morph weighs 60 pounds for a size reference. His vetting is all up to date and he is on monthly parasite prevention.

His one true love in this world is running. His favorite sound is the tiny snapping noise of the leash being unhooked. Morpheus knows a few tricks for treats, and he is a great listener. He is fostered with other dogs and cats and kids, and he loves everyone who will tolerate his running. He has two speeds, 100 or zero. Naps are enjoyable for him as well.

Morpheus came to us with some inflammation in his lungs and upper airways. He was diagnosed with bronchitis at that time. This condition did not cause any exercise intolerance or signs of discomfort for Morph. His only noticeable symptom was unusually loud breathing after his running. Morpheus loves other dogs, especially small ones. His ideal home would have people to play with and someone to take him on car rides and trips to get snacks. A baby pool would be an added bonus since he LOVES water, too!

He is a strong dog on leash and could benefit from some structured training classes.
