He is incredibly bright, making him an excellent companion for someone looking for an active and engaged best friend.<br/><br/>Before coming into our care, Moose had limited opportunities to experience the world outside of a home environment. He is now getting to enjoy the things every dog deserves—walks, adventures, new experiences, and plenty of opportunities to learn and explore. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding, and he continues to impress us with his willingness to learn and his positive attitude.<br/><br/>One of Moose's standout qualities is his impeccable leash manners. He walks beautifully and is a joy to take out on adventures. He is a smart, affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with the people he trusts and genuinely wants to please his handler.<br/><br/>Moose is looking for a very specific home where he can continue to succeed. He is not suitable for a home with cats, small animals, or young children. We are looking for an experienced dog owner, ideally someone who has experience with German Shepherds or similar working breeds and understands the importance of structure, boundaries, consistency, and ongoing training.<br/><br/>His adopter must also be willing and committed to following a strict training plan developed with our team. Moose does best when he has clear expectations, consistency, and someone who is willing to continue building on the progress he has already made. His continued success will depend on his adopter being patient, consistent, and committed to putting the work in.<br/><br/>Moose has so much potential, and we want to set him up for a lifetime of success—not simply find him a home.
