Age: 11 months Weight: 45lbs Meet Moose! This 45lb pup is a total mush. He was rescued in Texas as a puppy and has gratefully settled into his New York foster home. He has a new favorite panda toy. Moose is waiting with a heart full of love for his forever home! His foster says: "Moose is the sweetest baby boy! He is a lovey playful puppy who will constantly make you smile. Moose is a little shy at first, but that’s only because he wants to make sure you’re kind before he unleashes his sweet love on you! Moose LOVES to play with balls. He could entertain himself by playing hide and seek with the ball or drop the ball at your feet for some good ole fetch! Balls are one of Moose’s favorite second best to being a snuggly cuddle buddy. He loves to cozy up to you on the couch while you hangout together. Moose will often lay a sweet paw or his sweet head on your lap to show you just how much he loves you. Moose and his foster mom have had quite the adorable cuddle! Moose loves to lay on your chest and fall asleep making the sweetest happy sounds. He is a sweet boy who appreciates the simple things, kindness, patience, balls, snuggles and a little treat! Moose loves to sleep on the couch or bed and is the best boy when his foster mom goes to work. On his dog camera, Moose enjoys his see-you-later snack before hopping in bed for a sweet nap before mom gets home. Get ready for when you finally get some to this sweet boy! True North Pet Rescue Mission's Adoption Policy

First Step: Submit Your Application True North does not issue blanket approvals, we consider the needs of each specific dog when reviewing applications. If you don't have a specific dog in mind when applying, please note this on your application so that we can keep this in mind when reviewing. We require home photos for all applicants, but can accept a video replacement. Please enter as much detail as possible on your application, this helps us better understand what you are looking for and how this relates to the needs of the dog you have applied for. For puppies under 12 weeks, we require a care plan. This includes a plan for when the dog will be left alone, as puppies younger than 12 weeks should not be left alone longer than 2-3 hours at a time. Please Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, it is not always possible to reply to everyone. If your application is approved, you can expect the following. Second Step: Application Review & Approval 1. If your application is approved, an email will be sent connecting you with the dog's current foster. At this time, you may schedule a mutually convenient time to meet. 2. After meeting, you have 24 hours to confirm if you would like to move forward with finalizing the adoption. After this, if we have not heard from you, we will begin scheduling other meets. 3. If you choose to finalize, we will issue an adoption contract via email. Once the signed agreement has been electronically returned along with the adoption fee (which will be disclosed prior to adopting), you will be all set to coordinate for pick-up with the foster! Adoption Fees: Our adoption fees are comparable to those found amongst other well-known rescues in the city. We only accept electronic payments for adoption fees.
