Moose's Story

Hi, I'm Moose! I’m about four years old. I love walks and do great on a leash. I love treats, and they help me learn more daily. I enjoy having dog friends but prefer those who respect my boundaries. I enjoy car rides and I’m always ready for new adventures. I even stayed in a hotel with my foster, and was on my best behavior the entire time! I do have some separation anxiety, and need someone that will continue helping me build my confidence. The crate and I are not best friends yet, but I’m working on it daily, and making progress. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, and resilient buddy who will fill your days with love and smiles, I would love to meet you. All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter”. This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience. Please note, Moose has not yet been kids or cat tested.

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
