Moose's Story

Male/ Neutered/Sable/ up to date on Vacs/ microchipped

DOB – approx. July 4, 2024-

Papers- none – likely American breed GSD

Current Location – NE Wisconsin

Health Issues – none known

Ideal Placement- Moose was pulled from a local Shelter (owner surrendered ) and trained up in human remains detection by a retired LE handler/trainer of 5 HRD dogs who also ran a patrol dog. Moose has been imprinted on excellent large sources of real human remains. Moose has a trained final response of a ‘Down’ on source of remains. Excellent ball drive and use as reward. Clear headed and very responsive to all things training. He is currently approx. 61lbs. Must go to legitimate working placement as he will not make a good pet. Fenced yard or kennel run – his nose will cause him to wander off left alone. He is crate trained and housebroken. Knows basic obedience however the focus of training has been independent searching. Neutral to other large dogs.

Serious inquiries can contact the trainer at email coren0120@gmail.com. Cost will be the adoption fee to the shelter. Must travel to and train with Moose prior to consideration. Trainer will provide ongoing long-distance training for the team. Handler must possess their own training aids.

Moose is a WORKING DOG ONLY. Contact information is coren0120@gmail.com
