MoonMan's Story

Meet Moon Man, often affectionately called “Moonie” by our staff. This little handsome man was dumped rurally as a puppy and has been searching for his forever home since. Moon Man can be a shy guy at first, making it hard for him to connect with new friends the first time they meet, but once he warms up to you, Moonie is a total snuggle bug who just wants to curl up and hang out with you! Moonie can be a bit weary of dogs who are too rough or too high energy, and
would do best as a single man or with a calm, understanding dog who will let him know there is nothing to be afraid of! Moon Man hasn’t been around cats before, but we would be happy to cat test him for any interested parties. Moon Man would do best in a calm home where he could fall into a routine; he would likely do best in a home without small children, or with an understanding family who knows at first he may take some time to not be afraid of the kiddos!
We think he would be a perfect companion for a homebody who wants a canine homebody to spend their days with. We can see him curling up for some Netflix or reading time, a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood or time laying in a hammock, we can even see him patiently sitting at your feet while you cook dinner—he is truly ready to just do life with someone of his very own! Think this little pocket Moonie could find a place in your world? Apply online to meet him at freetoliveok.org/adopt
