Moon's Story

Meet Moon, a 2-year-old, 60-pound mixed breed girl with the perfect mix of sweet, serious, and fun. Moon knows what she likes in life: her people, nice walks, special treatment (as she believes she deserves), toys, and plenty of affection. Moon absolutely loves being with her humans and enjoys both giving and receiving love. She gets along with other dogs, but she does resource guard, so she'll need some management around food and high-value items like toys. She would thrive as an only dog where she can soak up all the attention for herself, but she could also do very well in a home that understands resource guarding and is willing to help manage those situations appropriately in a multi-dog home. Beyond that, Moon checks a lot of boxes - she's good with kids and cats, walks nicely on leash, rides great in the car, and is house trained. Moon is looking for her person: someone who appreciates a dog with personality, enjoys giving affection, and understands that the best companions sometimes come with a little extra character. She's ready to be someone's best friend - now she just needs someone to choose her.
