Meet Monty! ?<br/>This handsome one year old Pitty/Cattle Dog mix is full of joy and love! Monty is a friendly, happy boy who greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and bright eyes. He’s potty trained and working hard on his manners! He’s already getting really good at “sit” and is learning not to jump up when he gets excited. Monty hasn’t quite figured out the fun of playing with toys yet, but we’re sure he’ll get there soon. He’s a smart and curious pup who loves to learn. When he’s not running and exploring the yard, his favorite spot is right next to you, soaking up pets and attention. He’s eager to find his forever family and share all his love (and tail wags!) with them. ?

Wetaskiwin Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

After selecting your pet, we require you to fill out the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. After this is done your new family member will be ready for pick up in 24 hours. This gives you time to ready your home for a new addition and gives us time to make sure that any paperwork and services required are complete. If you change your mind in this 24 hour hold period your payment will be refunded to you. Choosing a pet is a big decision for you and your family but it is also a big life change for your new pet. We require all potential adopters to meet the animal in person prior to adopting. We unfortunately cannot accommodate travel arrangements or shipping of an animal.
