Immediately upon meeting us she wanted all the hugs and cuddles and when you come through the door she gives you about a 60-second hug to greet you, which is so similar to Quinta who is our current foster dog. They both just want to greet you with a hug when you come through the door and be your best friend and companion. Montreal took the lead of our current foster dog Quinta and kind of did whatever she wanted to do, whether that was running around in the yard, peeking out of the windows or playing tug she was just happy to be around another dog. She was reluctant to go into the kennel but had no issues when she was in there. She's a very good listener and also slept through the night. At just 1-year-old she is very mature but still learning and all she really wants out of this world is someone to give her kindness and pets. Montreal attended her first two events with us and she was loved by anyone who met her because she would just melt right into their arms.<br/><br/>10/7/26 Foster Feedback: Montreal or Monty as I lovingly call her, is the definition of “I just want to be your best friend”. Her favorite thing to do is snuggle up with you. This girl is smart. She knows how to sit and shake! She also is fully potty trained and kennel trained. She loves all of her doggy friends and does a good job at reading cues from them - whether they have been a puppy, adult, or older dog. She’s very curious about cats in a similar way as she is to other dogs. This girl is a self entertainer when needed. She loves a good nap or a good bone. We are working on leash manners and lay down right now. She loves exploring the outdoors. Her weirdest quirk is she like an audience for meal time, which is very cute.
