Monte's Story

Meet this happy-go-lucky pup who’s ready to find his forever home! At just 5–6 months old, he’s full of joy, curiosity, and puppy enthusiasm. He loves playing with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy to romp around with. He’s friendly, upbeat, and always seems to have a wagging tail and a smile to share.

While he’s a big fan of dogs and people, he’s not into cats, so a cat-free home would be best for him. With his young age and eager-to-please personality, he’ll do great continuing his training and learning the ropes of being a wonderful family dog. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion to grow up with your family, this sweet boy might be your perfect match. We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
1/22/26 9:06 PM
