Monte Cristo's Story
Updated introduction for Monte
Monte is a 1-year-old terrier/Chihuahua mix who is neutered and just starting to discover how great the "indoor dog life" can be. This little guy has been settling into foster care and making steady progress every day as he learns routines, trust, and the joys of being someone's companion.

At first Monte wasn't sure about dog food, but now he looks forward to his daily menu -- soft food for breakfast and crunchy kibble for dinner. He sleeps mostly quietly in his crate at night and is fully house trained, which makes him a very easy roommate.

Monte can be shy when meeting new people and definitely believes in taking introductions slow. He has formed a strong bond with his foster mom and is warming up more and more to his foster dad. Once Monte decides you're part of his circle, he becomes a loyal little shadow. True to his Chihuahua roots, he would happily stay glued to his favorite human all day -- but he's also content snoozing beside you or curled up at your feet.

When Monte first met a visiting German Shepherd, he was convinced the world was ending. Now, after seeing him every day, Monte is relaxed and nearly ready to play. Watching his confidence grow has been a joy and shows how well he responds to patience and reassurance.

Monte is a sweet, sensitive, and slightly silly little dog whose personality keeps blossoming as he feels safer. In a calm home with a patient adopter, he'll transform into a deeply devoted companion who will happily follow you from room to room and keep you company wherever you go.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
If you are interested in meet or adoption me, please fill out an adoption application athttps://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sa3058&method=online_form_html&formid=41
