Monica's Story
Meet Monica, the adorable "cat-dog" who’s convinced that the best life is lived at home—preferably collecting toys and doing occasional zoomies to keep things spicy.

She may start off a little shy, but give her a minute and she’ll become your quiet little shadow, following you from room to room or just hanging out nearby like your personal emotional support potato.

Monica is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and deeply toy-motivated. In fact, she loves toys so much she often gathers them up and stashes them in her kennel like a tiny dragon guarding her treasure hoard.

She’s still learning about leashes (jury’s still out on those), but she’s rocking her potty training, is food-motivated, and is working on mastering "sit."

If you’re a homebody who considers "going outside" a sometimes activity, Monica is your girl. She’s perfectly happy romping around the yard, cuddling up inside, and living her best cozy-life dreams.

Looking for a companion for your companion? Monica might just be the perfect peaceful pal to round out your home.

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets!
