Monica is a spunky young Coonhound mix; approximately 1 - 2 years old, and weighs 45 lbs. Since we don't know her exact age, she could grow to be over 50 lbs; but we don't believe she will be over 60 lbs. Monica is energetic, excitable, and playful. She is sweet and affectionate, but she does have a lot of energy, so stimulation is key for her to thrive in a home. This is typical with Hounds. She loves to run; an active family who takes her for long walks/runs would be great. She gets along well with other dogs, but has some assertion over food, so a meeting with any dog in the home is recommended prior to adoption, and separate feeding is a must. She is highly motivated by food, so this will make training easier.
