Against all odds, she made it out alive, and we’re so grateful she has a second chance at life. Gentle and sweet, Mona has no aggression—she’s just a little scared when strangers try to pick her up. With patience and kindness, her bright, affectionate personality blossoms. She was rescued alongside her best friend, Lisa, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Their bond gave them courage in a frightening place, and together, they’ve learned how to trust again. Mona is loving, cheerful, and gets along well with other dogs. Mona was rescued alongside her best friend Lisa, who survived an astonishing 2 years and 4 months in the same Ulsan high-kill shelter as Mona, and together they’ve shared a journey of hope and healing. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES: • US residents only • 24 years of age (drivers license or passport required as a form of ID) • All children are age 6 or older • No restrictions on pets by landlord (must receive written consent) • Provide photos of your home, including bedroom • Financially willing and able to properly care for dog for remainder of its life • Must create separate IG account for adopted dog - to provide updates ADOPTION PROCESS (1-2 weeks): • Fill out the adoption application below with a specific dog(s) you wish to adopt from @KpupsForLove • Adoption screening interview via phone call with our team ONLY IF your application reflects our criteria • Reference checks • After screening steps, you will be notified ONLY IF your adoption application is approved • Our volunteers will work with you to finalize the adoption - sharing your new dog’s medical records, scheduling a date of your dog’s arrival, and sending detailed pick-up instructions.
