Meet Momma Penelope! She is waiting for her own family .good with other dogs all vetted . Very sweet girl ..she is very smart learns quick will make a great family dog . She came from a home in Macon County the beginning of February 2025 when she was very pregnant. She is about 18 months so we put her as a birthday of 1/27/24. She gave birth to 7 puppies on 2/13/25 and will be nursing until the end of The adoption fee is $350 which covers spay/neuter, rabies, Bordetella, 2 parvo/distemper vaccines, several rounds of deworming, microchip, and a heartworm test. Life House Animal Refuge And Rehabilitation's Adoption Policy

Complete an application by clicking on the adoption application link box to the right. We ask for two personal references and a vet reference. We will do a home visit. We charge a $350 - $500 fee for dogs and a $125 fee for cats. This fee covers their medical needs, including spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, and deworming.
