Callie will need a home that has the patience to work with her so she will gain confidence and bond with her caretaker. We work with her just to be able to take a treat from a stranger. Once she trusts you she's all in to her person. Such a gentle soul that just wants to be loved and feel safe with you. Must has a safe and secure fenced in yard. No apartments. Callie is about 2+ years old, spayed, a big girl 65-75 pounds, current on all her vaccines, microchipped, wormed for all parasites. Callie has been in her foster home two yearas as of 4/15/23.<br/>Momma Callie was a stray, living under an abandoned house in South Memphis trying to care for her litter of pups and pups kept disappearing one at a time. This had to be so hard for her as a first time mom. The two remaining pups were 3-4 months old and have found their furever homes.<br/>We are glad she’s safe with save1pet now. She’s a bit shy meeting any new folks and takes time for her to warm up to new folks. Her whole world changed after she was rescued. Now she enjoys being inside a home and doesn't mind being kenneled. It is a safe place for her. She enjoys her meals and actually lays down to eat most of the time. <br/>She does well around other dogs.
