Momma Auburn's Story

Momma Auburn and her puppies were pulled from Haywood Co., Animal Shelter in Haywood, TN when they were just two weeks old. Poor momma was found stray and pregnant and had her pups at the shelter. The shelter employees begged us to get her out, so we did. Some of these pups have double back dew claws. Auburn was such a great mother that she took in 3 other pups from another litter who came in without a Mom and a single pup who came in without a Mom. Auburn has weaned the pups and is now staying in boarding at Happie Hounds and thriving as a social butterfly. The pups are all at the Maternity Ward foster waiting on their forever home or to go to individual foster homes while Momma Auburn is in boarding at Happie Hounds learning how to be a dog and have fun!
