Molly the Blue Heeler's Story

Estimated to be about 4–5 years old, Molly has clearly known hard times. She previously had puppies, and she came to us with a mangled front paw and a rear leg that had once been broken and healed on its own. Our veterinarian believes she was likely hit by a car — but this brave girl survived, healed, and continues to thrive.

Today, Molly is housebroken, spayed, fully vaccinated, and absolutely adores belly rubs. She is truly one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet! She loves her “cookies,” laps up attention, and has embraced indoor dog life with ease and gratitude.

Molly enjoys the company of both small and large dogs, though she’s not afraid to remind them that she’s no pushover. However, she does not do well with cats or small critters.

Now, Molly is searching for a person she can call her very own — someone who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them.

Could you be her hero?

ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $200.00

In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.
To do so, please visit our website at www.saveadane.org

GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative

Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.

Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas
16516 El Camino Real #402
Houston, TX 77062-5723

Information E-mail: info@saveadane.org

Adoption E-mail: adoption@saveadane.org

Website www.saveadane.org

Connecting Great Danes to Great People

Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas
