Meet Molly: The Sweetest Sidekick You’ll Ever Have 🍫🐾

If loyalty, love, and gentle companionship had a face, it would be Molly's.

This beautiful 2-year-old 43 pound Chocolate Labrador Retriever is the definition of a best friend. With her soft eyes, sweet nature, and calm personality, Molly has a way of making everyone around her feel special. She's the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention—she's happiest simply being close to the people she loves.

Molly has a naturally easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. She already knows how to sit and walks beautifully on a leash, happily staying by your side without pulling. Whether you're taking a stroll through the neighborhood, visiting a local park, or just enjoying a quiet evening at home, Molly is content wherever her people are.

While some dogs are all about toys and roughhousing, Molly's favorite thing is much simpler: you. She's not particularly interested in playing with toys or keeping up with the other dogs. Instead, she'd much rather lean in for pets, soak up affection, and enjoy the comfort of being near her favorite humans. Her gentle, snuggly nature makes her the perfect companion for someone looking for a devoted best friend.

Molly is wonderful with kids and other dogs, and her calm, loving demeanor allows her to fit seamlessly into family life. She brings a peaceful energy wherever she goes and has a remarkable ability to make a house feel more like a home.

If you've been searching for a dog who will greet you with a wagging tail, stay faithfully by your side, and fill your days with unconditional love, Molly may be exactly who you've been waiting for. She doesn't ask for much—just a cozy place to rest, a loving hand to lean into, and a family to call her own.

Molly isn't just looking for a home. She's looking for her person. And once she finds them, she'll love them with her whole heart. ❤️🐶

Molly is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

Given the conditions Molly originated from, upon rescue, she tested positive for Heartworm disease. Thanks to Home for Good Dog Rescue, Molly has completed her Heartworm treatment.

*Heartworm disease is a serious and if left untreated, fatal disease. It is caused by foot-long worms (heartworms) that live in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels of affected animals, causing severe lung disease, heart failure, and damage to other organs in the body. Mosquitoes are carriers of heartworms and have the ability to infect dogs all year round, especially in the Southeastern portion of the United States and during the summer months.*

**Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org**

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
