"Molly" - Kerr County flood victim labrador mix's Story

In Kerrville, we suffered devastating flooding here on July 4th and many lives and pets were lost. "Molly" was found on the river, emaciated and stranded. We took her into our care here at Kerrville Pets Alive. After weeks of trying to diagnose her lack of weight gain, the vet determined after testing she had exogenic pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). After months of treatment with enzyme supplements each day, she has gained tremendously and is doing well. She has blossomed in her foster home, loving the other family dogs and is great with children. She is a playful girl, but loves her kennel or her bed and understands quiet time. She loves to play ball with her foster sisters or cuddle up on the couch. Molly has learned commands and is great on a leash. Molly is housebroken, spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative. She would make a wonderful family pet and with proper nutrition and following her enzyme plan, she will live a long and happy life!
